Everybody has flaws, everyone has insecurities, and everyone has something about their body they don’t like because society thinks we should not have those traits.
I have body flaws, you have body flaws, the ‘perfect girl/guy’ in your school, work or neighborhood has body flaws, your bully has body flaws, the models in the magazines you’re reading have body flaws.
It’s normal, it’s okay, it’s great, so then why is everyone so bothered about them?
Why does society say that having big feet is bad, why is having cellulite bad? Why do we let them tell us things about us they don’t even see, why do they decide what we should look like?
When I say society I mean the media, your community, your friends, your families, and yourself. Yes, even you don’t have the power to judge your body, to make yourself feel bad.
You did not create yourself, you were created like this for a reason because it the best for you.
What makes you think if you fixed it you would look better or even feel better? You don’t know that, and neither do they.
Society is a cruel place and you have to protect yourself. I’m not the most confident person but along the way, I’ve learned to love myself and so can you.
The worst thing you can do is to obsess over something you can’t fix, something they can fix overnight.
There’s this saying, if you can’t fix it in 10 seconds don’t point it out. There’s no reason to obsess over something you have no control over.
Focusing on them, makes you lose sight of all the great things about your body and it will suck the happiness and self-confidence out of you.
You are beautiful and everything about you is. You can make yourself beautiful, by accepting and loving yourself. When you love and accept your flaws no one can use them against you.

If you don’t like something about yourself you can either change it or accept it, there is no in-between. No time to hate it, if you can cure your acne if you can lose weight, do it.
Only If you want to. If not, accept it.
That’s what I live by and trust me it has helped my self-confidence a lot.
Here is a list of some things everyone has that you and they should not be embarrassed about.
And yes, even people that point it out to you have at least one of these things.
27 Worst Things About Your Body You Should Never Be Ashamed Of

On a Final Note:
Hating your body is exhausting, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
You are strong, you are beautiful, and you are who you are. No one is perfect, everyone has flaws. Your body is yours and yours alone, no one has the right to talk about it except maybe your doctor.
Sure you should spend time and money if you want to make your body better if you want to, not someone else. Never do it for someone else, trust me it’ll make you feel worse in the long run.
But keep this in mind, if you can’t fix it in 10 seconds, don’t worry about it.
